Have you ever had issues with cramps during exercise? This is a very common issue, especially when doing cardio. Did you know that up to 75% of cramps are caused by dehydration? Besides the common knowledge of not eating within 90 minutes of exercise, if you find cramping a chronic issue when working out you should re-evaluate your daily water intake (especially on days where the demands of your exercising are more rigorous). Remember that hydration needs to be constant, you cannot just pound water at the last minute and expect to be all set. Don't forget to rehydrate while exercising, especially as the weather begins to warm up!
